I began my career as a Health Unit Clerk in Emergency Medicine, where I quickly developed a deep appreciation for the dynamic and ever-evolving world of healthcare. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience across multiple disciplines, including Oncology, General Surgery, Community Health, Psychology, and Program Coordination.
For the past nine years, I have worked as a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) / Health Unit Clerk Instructor, while also serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Curriculum Developer. These roles have allowed me to combine my industry expertise with my passion for education, ensuring that students receive both practical knowledge and real-world insight.
Student success and mentorship are at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I take pride in supporting learners through both in-class and online instruction, drawing on my experience in diverse learning environments to create engaging, effective, and supportive training. Many of my students have gone on to become successful graduates, securing employment and building meaningful careers in healthcare administration.
